Capital Ideals is an independent advisory practice in sustainable and blended finance. About
Beatrice Casamenti
Beatrice has spent over ten years in sustainable, blended and development finance across the European Commission, the EIB Group and international advisory. At DG INTPA she co-designed the EU Global Green Bond Fund, a blended finance vehicle mobilising private capital for green investments in emerging markets, and served as a core member of the EFSD+ Credit Guarantee Team. At the EIB Group she executed some USD 60 million in equity investments in venture capital and private equity funds across Africa and South Asia. At Innpact she structured impact investment funds for DFIs, MDBs and private investors, spanning climate adaptation, renewable energy and education finance.
Through Capital Ideals she now advises institutions including UNICEF, the Blue Bond Accelerator, the EU Sustainable Finance Advisory Hub and AFD Group on blended finance design, blue bond market development and EU financial instruments. Her work sits at the intersection of philanthropy and institutional capital: designing financial mechanisms, connecting the actors needed to make them work, and helping new sustainable finance markets take shape.
